If you have courage you don't run away in fear
If you have courage you don't run when evils near
If you have courage you stand for what is right
If you have courage you'll be able this poem to write

Correcting Papers
We’re correcting papers in our class,
It is so loud I think we’ll break some glass.
But we aren’t making sounds of glee.
No hurrahs. No yippee.
We’re making sounds of sighs and groans.
We’re all aching down to our bones.
We’re all wondering when we’ll be done,
“When will this be over? I want to have fun!’’
Just when we said, “There is no hope,
When will this be over? How long do we have to cope? ’’
The teacher stood up and with joy she said,
“It’s time for recess! There’s nothing to dread!’’
We’re having fun in our class,
It is so loud we’ve broke some glass.
And we are making sounds of glee.
Only hurrahs. Only yippee.
The Forest
I have never ventured far into the forest before,
Because of strange stories that might be folklore.
But I know as a fact that some things are true,
And if you listen carefully I’ll tell them to you.
The Snake, for example, can swallow a croc in one bite,
And grown men run away from it in their fright.
But just looking at the Spider’s head,
Makes it slither away in dread.
The Spider, with its poisonous bite,
Is dangerous, plus it hunts at night.
But when it sees the fearsome Mole,
It will scramble away to the nearest hole.
The Mole can trample a man under foot,
It has razor sharp claws and its fur is like soot.
But when it hears the Panther’s around,
It will dig a hole, deep underground.
The Panther, which can see at night,
Can catch an owl in its flight.
This beast is afraid of no other,
Except, maybe, for its Mother!
